Jun 16, 2011 - Mr Bob Ettinger, Former NG PM for the Global Hawk Program

Robert C. Ettinger, Colonel, USAF (Retired) recently retired as the Manager of Flight Test for Northrop Grumman Unmanned System’s High Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) programs. He previously completed 10 years as the Manager of Flight Test for Northrop Grumman’s highly successful Global Hawk program.  In 2005 he won the Society of Experimental Test Pilots’ James H. Doolittle Award for outstanding technical management for his efforts in leading the Global Hawk test program. He recently was inducted into the Aerospace Walk of Honor in Lancaster, California. He served 27 1/2 years in the United States Air Force as a fighter pilot, combat pilot, experimental test pilot and flight test manager. His last position in the USAF was Vice Commander of the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) at Edwards AFB, CA. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Ohio State University.
